Price-clipped. Lovely deco ills. of a 1930s plane on the front. No publishing date but the last Chapter has a footnote "Written August 1939" and there is an interesting note at the front of the book: "It had been provisionally arranged that Captain H H Balfour MC., MP, Under-Secretary of State should write a foreword to this book, but under the present circumstances and in view of the heavy duties of his Ministerial Office, the publishers feel that, interested as Captain Balfour is in all efforts to interest people in the air, they could not ask him to divert his energies from his present task". So if you know when HH Balfour was Under Secretary of State you may be able to pinpoint what his 'present task' was - Munich Crisis? at least we know it is c1939.400grams unp.
