This is an unopened book - the bookmark is slightly soiled where it hangs outside the book, the gilt lettering and embellishments are clean but dulled on the spine. The closed edges are very slightly age-dulled - very slight and overall the book looks splendid . Ask me about protective sleeving for dustjackets and books without dustjackets.
